With extensive experience in residential construction and home improvement, ScanBuild assists clients in visualizing the “dream home potential” of existing properties by incorporating contemporary stylings and features.

I’m the founder of Edit in Style, LLC. My 25 years in healthcare taught me that calm, intentional spaces can transform the way we think and feel. I design environments that are fresh, balanced, and welcoming—so you can breathe, focus, and thrive.

From childhood, Ruth was always interested in houses, design, and architecture. She grew up in England in a home that was, as the British call it, “decorated.” There she learned how to make a house a home. Her professional career started when her love of design collided with an admiration of beautiful lamp shades she had seen in Colefax and Fowler, England. It turned into a lucrative side business.
